As long as you pick one with "transclipping" in the name once in Unity, personally I use doubleshade with feather + transclipping.
Drag in the texture as basemap, as well as both 1st and 2nd shadecolour, tick checkboxes for basemap as alpha mask, and light colour anywhere you see that in the settings. Then adjust clipping mask and tweak transparency sliders as necessary.
After that, for the colour pickers for the two shadecolours, lower the brightness to a slight grey to enable shadows.
That's the quick and dirty on getting that shader working. The big list of other settings you can look into for tweaking to your liking on your own.

How does this work reliably for you? The automatic calibrator is great, but I've never got the settings to stick after I shut down steamVR and turn it back on again. I've tried booting up steamVR, turning on a single puck, waiting for it to find the lighthouses, _then_ opening the calibrator, or booting steamVR, opening the calibrator , and _then_ turning on a puck, but every time the tracker is just way off in its own little world until I wave it around for calibration again.

So far I've just been calibrating at the start of every night, but what's also bizarre is that sometimes the trackers lose calibration in the _middle_ of the night. I go afk, come back, and the trackers are offset by 2m sideways again, so I have to figure out which tracker is which and wave it around again. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Weird reflections of my lighthouses?

Maybe a related question, in the white circular grid screen of steamVR (where you can see the trackers as checkerboarded textures), the virtual representation of the lighthouses are way off from where they are IRL, while the virtual rift sensors are in the correct place. For 1) just a cheap VPS somewhere running nginx is great, if you know how to do all that stuff. I rent one for $10/mo for various things. All you need is it to support byte range requests, so unfortunately `python3 -mhttp.server` is out though. Some seedboxes also offer HTTP file serving, which is convenient.

For 2) some of the poorfag reencoders on nyaa already do this, like deadfish, but if you have specific anime you want to watch it's not... too difficult to reencode yourself. On windows you can use handbrake, which is just a gui around ffmpeg, or directly on the cygwin command line something ilke

At least on the house itself though, pausing the video is bugged and will restart once you hit play again. Oculus Rift CV1 in vrchat. Already tried all the full/limited dynamic range fixes with no improvements. Why does the Rift have no gamma controls?

I've been told several times it's supposed to be brighter or my eyes have just adjusted to the dark. That's bullshit, I never had this problem using the DK2 in vrchat. Now I''m stumped, has anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it?
