Quill is cool and free, so doesn't hurt to try. I'm not good at 2d art though, so I usually just look at the sample scenes, make a few squiggles, and give up. Tilt brush is also nice, but expensive at $20.

The VR sculpting programs are nice too, and better if you want to actually export your work, e.g. into unity. Oculus medium is free with rift, masterpiece VR is expensive but good, kanova is limited but free on steam.

Finally there are prototyping/poly modeling tools, maquette and Google blocks. Both free, and nice in a "VR Legos" sort of way. And while it's buggy, check out EditorXR, a unity plugin to do scene editing in VR.

It works well for 90% of use cases. The tracking cameras have a wide enough FOV that you never need to be looking directly at your hands as long as they're at your front or sides. The tracking isn't great at high speeds so you won't be breaking any beat saber records, but for most games it's fine.

The problem is in that he exercises an unnecessary level of control while not making particularly good decisions. The health system in Take and Hold, for example: he has eight different presets rather than just allowing the player to enter their own value. Hey /vrg/, has anyone played the Quake VR mod/port which came out a couple of months ago? I've set it up and it works fine, but turn speed is too low to play. Any idea how to increase it? There's no VR option in the menus that I can find and adjusting keyboard/mouse/controller turn speed does nothing. There doesn't seem to be any cvar for it either. I'm using a Rift, if that matters.
