The PS4 one is the native PSVR camera, so the hardware is clearly capable. The eye uses USB 2.0, but PS4 uses https://www.psdevwiki.com/ps4/Aux so you'll need some way to connect it to a PC. Making your own head to slap onto other models isn't so hard, even from scratch, even visemes from scratch.
Even bodies from scratch are really easy too.
literally all you do is create mesh groups that match bone names and those bones move those mesh groups.
it's not at all hard, it just takes time to learn to do it quickly.
Using a character sheet as a guide and just drawing vectors to match, then doing the textures, once you get fast, takes about a week.
then, you can crank stuff out in a couple days.
then, you'll have a base. Did you know that literally every character in overwatch is based on tracer? her model is the base for everything, they just extrude.
Pros do that too. You don't have to do everything from scratch, just heavily modify things you already have, and it's also okay to heavily modify other people's things. Once the mesh is over 50% custom, it's basically yours, in my opinion.

Vroids power is custom textures and custom hair mixed with generating a quick base that has shapekeys and visemes. It's actually really good for people with other artistic skills like texturing or modelling skills but don't want to start from scratch every time or make their own shapekeys.
Just experiment using values outside the sliders maximum in the editor. Don't be afraid too edit the mesh in blender. And always make your own textures.
I subdivided the lips and pulled them out to make them fuller and more masculine. The manlier chin is using values outside the slider defaults as well as slightly edited in blender.
For textures i use alternate vroid lip textures and hand painted my own eyelines, eyebrows and nose shading.
The japs do some amazing things with vroid a lot of people mistake them for scratch build booth models.

There aren't any AAA games for VR yet, but you can certainly get your money's worth right now playing things like Beat Saber, Superhot, Asseto Corsa and etc.

MP5 is fucking based in pavlov beta. At $1200 you can buy it almost every round even if you're losing and you wont break your economy when you upgrade it after winning. With the triangle handle it's accurate for quite a long auto burst as long as you gently pull down as you shoot and the upward recoil pushes for headshots. The high rate of fire makes it quite deadly especially if you encounter people without armor.

I'm pretty much just buying it every round now. Either I'm on the losing team and need to keep the economy going or our team is stomping and getting better weapons would just be cruel.

FYI beat saber anons. I never read the health and safety shit before today so I just noticed that it says to "stretch before playing". This is bad advice if your doing static/isometric stretching. Static stretching should come after a workout once your muscles have had a chance to loosen up. Doing it before tends to make you weaker and more prone to injury.

So instead of that do an active warmup. Either start with easier songs and work your way up, jumping jacks, or do the "windmill" type dynamic stretch where you wind your arms in progressively larger circles. This will help with shoulder pain if you are having that and should make you perform a bit better to boot.
You should still do static stretches to improve your mobility but do them afterwards or anytime your not playing. I'd also recommend giving the mobility guide in the /fit/ sticky a read through while your at it. Some genuinely good info there.

The limits currently mentioned in the wiki are way too harsh. 8 Collider checks and 32 dynamic bone transforms? That might work for 1-3 Bones at best.

I personally consider below 150 optimized, 150-300 medium, 300+ poor. A minimal System that can handle VR should be able to deal with 150 transform without issues.

At least make it possible to enter the limits directly via menu without configuring an extra file and allow them for friends.

This is what makes avatars feel alive. I really enjoy some dynamics on them and this patch is totally gonna destroy it without a doubt. Reconsider the defaults to something more reasonable.
