Alright anons, Shop is going to press forward again, this time once again on Wednesday. This time around things are going to get funky though, have to work, but its a morning, so I can get out at about 4pm. Getting home that leaves time for EST and PST anons. Hello everyone, here is a useful image depicting the buy menu from pavlov. As a new player, you probably want to pay particular attention to the following items:

Body Armor and Body Armor with Helmet: These items protect you from bullets. The helmet is particularly important because it protects you from headshots. It will pop off after a certain number of hits. Armor protects more against smaller bullets (from pistols and submachine guns) than larger bullets (from rifles) but the decision whether or not to buy armor is one best left to experienced players. You should buy armor.
Flashbang / Frag grenade: Good for throwing at people.
Bomb defusal kit: Good for spending on if you have some extra money and need to defuse bombs fast. People have won rounds against the odds with these.
MP5 / P90: Solid submachine guns that are worth considering if you can't afford a rifle.
AK47 / M4: Very soil rifles that are the bread and butter weapons of the game. You want to concentrate on these first. The AK12 is a good choice too.
Pump Shotgun / Spas-12: Good if you like shotguns.
Glock / Deagle: Glock shoots fast and is good in pistol rounds. Consider switching it to semi-automatic mode. Deagle shoots really hard and kills people if you shoot them in the face. The Revolver is good too, a more deadly but harder to control version of the deagle.
Attachments: The grips are good, the triangular one controls horizontal recoil so I prefer it. The stick looking one controls vertical recoil. The red dot and holo sights can be useful too, play around with them.

Yes, that was exactly what I was assuming, because I'm looking at this from the perspective of a world creator who doesn't want to deal with this shit, too. I guess that makes me "lazy", as you say below.

If you add additional steps to a process, you tend to increase the complexity. No matter how easy it seems to do for the content creator, even if it's literally just clicking one button, you introduce ways for things to break - and things WILL break. Things normally break from time to time, no matter how much safeguard against them.
And all of that for a gamemode that, to be quite frank, shouldn't even exist.

Not to mention the resources and opportunity costs the devs spent on this.

Of course there's going to be unforeseen complications, but that's just content creation for you. They could've just made it not cross-platform, but here we are. How else do you imagine it would work? Going from PC to Quest is a hard task for optimization. Going from Quest to PC is literally a button press or two away, which would be pretty retarded not to do if you already spent all those hours making it work for Quest and maybe care about wanting it to be accessible to PC users too. At this point there isn't really much we as PC users lose from this. We're probably not going to be playing with any Quest users due to the demands of our meetups.
