I took a break because the game has become less enjoyable over the last 6 months due to the lack of variety in weapons, doing progressively worse, and noticing constant network errors (possibly due to having to play on 4G). Cleetus just happened to join when a lot of people were getting tired of daily games anyway, which is when I should have stopped instead of trying to persist through it.

VRChat implementation is terrible because it's so imprecise, doesn't detect finger spacing, and makes overrides difficult to use. I don't know if it's inherently flawed or the VRC devs fucked it up. Some games are using legacy vive controls which are completely wrong, like pressing the grip to drop things, so we have to wait for devs to manually update it for usable Index controls. Edges of the screen are more distorted, and some people report a lot of glare, while others don't.

Everything else is an upgrade, especially the screen and comfort.

The cockpit gets cut in half and you keep going. It's a fun game, an absolute assload of community courses outside of the introductory 'campaign' storyline although some of those are a bit worse than others. Just don't worry about the 'optimal' way to play the game, it involves a lot of shortcut taking that ruins most of the levels and hovering upside-down over large gaps rather than driving like an autist. Still a fun arcadey game either way.

Each individual pre-recorded video is set up as well as the two live performances were recorded, but I believe some other people were recording during the event as well.
As for when they will be released, I know the official stuff will come within a day or so (needing to recover and set it all up nice & pretty) but the audience stuff might take longer/shorter depending on the pace of the person who recorded it.

As for things being a jittery mess, there was plenty of that during the event. So you'll feel right at home.

Went from 85kg to 70kg in one year without doing changes to my diet. I had short occasions where I'd try and pick up exercising outside of vr but those didn't last longer than days or a week. Played Pavlov on Index, coming from Rift. It's actually playable if you unbind the grip, use A, and enable auto ungrip so you can just yank your hands off the weapon. The extra FOV and frame rate are noticeable, but I can't judge the resolution yet as I'm playing without glasses. Controller angles are better, especially for throwing, but sometimes I couldn't get a grenades out of my hands with either button. I have no idea how the Butterfly bolts so fast with the extra button presses on Vive.

I actually had issues with the framerate, so far as going above 90. At 144hz my hands were very juddery - when I set it back to 90, it was butter smooth (or, as smooth as 90 is).

Moving the controllers at 144hz in the Steam void makes me wish the other headsets on the market were at least 120hz. I play at 120hz on my monitor so I'm used to it, and it really helps immersion in VR.

It's Assetto Corsa. I've actually never played any VR racing stuff without a wheel, but supposedly it'll work okay on a gamepad with some tweaking.

The balance is the same so I didn't think about it, but it's probably slightly heavier. Comfort is way better because the strap pivots upwards instead of stretching, the interface material is better, and nothing touches the ears.

The Lab has some good tutorial introduction games to VR. Beat saber probably a good starting point too. Space Pirate Trainer is a good one too for people just starting out.
Motion sickness generally comes from artificial movement which is everything other than walking around your playspace. Not everyone gets it, very few people don't get over it quickly, and just about every game has things to minimise it. Pavlov kicked my ass with motion sickness first time playing it but now I don't get any and play for hours at a time, sometimes while actively drunk and drinking. Wouldn't worry about it too much, just don't be surprised if you need to take breaks early on and don't force yourself.
Also yeah we're working on getting the dramafags out but it's a slow process.
