Most VR applications run poorly on early OS now. Things like bigscreen won't work and you'll have issues with movie nights in VRchat. You might be able to get it to run but you're only sacrificing your experience in the long run.

I'm honestly not sure how to do this without scripting. As with most things on vrchat. I'm guessing you're doing a 2d character and need the different textures/animation for different emotes?
Only thing I can think of would be to make copies with references to the texture/flip sheet you want then use the animation to toggle what was active. Seems like a wrong way to do it though.

For walking I think whatever sprite shader should be the thing handling that by changing the area it's rendering on the sprite sheet. For changing the sprite sheet the shader is referencing to toggle between running or different actions I don't have a clue.
If this is your first time animating I'd suggest starting on a different project to get the hang of it. This one doesn't seem as straight forward. There's plenty of good tutorials out there for standard animation in vrchat. I think tupper has some that covers it.

oof. The pastebins do need updating but they have some information there, I'd read through them. Also youtube in general is a great resource. Check out basic unity tutorials on things like that it doesn't have to be specifically vrchat either as learning the basics of unity will help you understand why vrchat has some quirks in getting what you want to happen work.
