They're pretty big for what I was expecting for 2Ah capacity; considering all the NiMH AAs I have are also 2Ah. For PC use? It has an OLED screen, which is really just a sidegrade, and hardware IPD adjustment which most people shouldn't need. You can do wireless PCVR with it if you're okay with kinda high latency. If you're not sure what to get, and you're buying it to use with your computer, just get a Rift S.

The reason AAA games have stagnated in the past decade is that the higher visual fidelity and interaction detail require more people to work on the game. Salaries are the primary (or only) cost of game development, so more employees means a really advanced game needs to be spread across a proportionately larger audience.
VR games sell like text based adventure games in 1992, and can only support small teams working with little overhead. It's a wonder that the big engines have made it as easy as it is, otherwise VR would be entirely dead in the water.

All the headsets are pretty good. Try to avoid something with inside out tracking if you can though those headsets tend to be a lot cheaper. Despite the memes vive is still pretty solid and despite the shilling quest is absolute garbage. Vive pro and any WMR that isn't the O+ is not worth it. If you don't have a computer that can run vr, get an upgrade before thinking about vr. Quest gets shilled as the alternative to having a good computer but it's a very neutered experience compared to pcvr especially considering you can play quest games on a regular headset but not the other way around. If your computer can run vr and you're thinking you'll get a quest and a link cable, you're better off just getting a regular vr headset instead.
Rift has pretty good controllers though they only make the rift s now which is objectively worse; O+ has pretty good screens and is cheap; vive is okay in all respects, has outside in tracking, and can be upgraded into index headset/controllers and full body tracking without having to buy the whole kit again without compatibility issues; index is a bit of a meme right now because of the price and controllers breaking all the time but the built in headphones and screen is top tier.

The game is made of temporary instances of maps (worlds). You browse the list of worlds until you find something you like, then you either enter an existing instance, spawn a new one with whatever permissions you want or join someone off your friendslist in their instance.

Worlds can be anything from an empty box with a mirror to complex scripted game worlds, so what you actually do in the game is up to you.

Unpopular opinion but I think a serious competitive shooter should have only ONE control scheme similiar to armswinger.
Artificial locomotion makes the games just reflect the desktop cancer because artificial anything is superior to doing it roomscale.
Artificial turning - faster and more stable than doing it yourself, especially when you're crouched or prone.
Artificial locomotion - completely stable, allows shit like jiggle peaks which are 100% cancer.
Artificial stock - superior to freehanding the controllers, especially if it's not designed by a retard like Dave.
Either everyone has the same control scheme, or hosts decide can you use artificial aids or not. At the very least artificial locomotion shouldn't be easily superior to performing those tasks in real life.
