im telling you to bake your curvature map from a higher poly mesh, export the curvature map, tweak it in gimp/photoshop, and improt it as a fill layer for your base color. its a high quality way to get those "baked in shadowy st ylistic" effects with little to no work and looks fabulous, also learn layer masking if you're just slapping smart materials on everything you're doing it wrong

Touch it up. Blur it with gaussian blur in gimp, fix scuffed parts and stuff. Always keep an eye out on your baked textures and see if it's the general shape you want. What's clamp filter do? I've never used it much. Mostly levels and blur.

You can add a box collider somewhere on your avatar and toggle it on with a gesture animation. Depending on how it's placed it'll push your avatar's capsule collider around. I don't know the optimal placement patterns myself.
