I tried the demo a few weeks back. Didn't play for too long since I was tired but the battles were pretty lame and buggy. The horses kept riding around me and into me after knocking down the knight ontop of it. 1 on 1 combat was alright but it wasn't like Blade & Sorcery so I guess I'll forever be spoiled until something better comes out. Maybe the demo is different from the full game but I doubt it. If it was more polished I'd get it but as of now it's to expensive for what you get right now

If your router isn't quite up to the task, or you're a little far away, an anon in a previous thread mentioned setting up a "Mobile Hotspot" on your computer and connecting the Quest wifi to that.

I did this and my ReLive wireless VR performance increased significantly. So it may be worth looking into, if your PC has a wireless adapter.

Select all of the hair in blender, then hit shape propagate on the basis, that should tell those verts to chill the fuck out on moving. Be careful though, it will solidly lock those verts from moving on any shape keys so only hit the hair, do it twice because sometimes it doesn't work the first time.

An hour of fuckin later, the shapekeys still work on my mesh via sections that were both merges, or deleted.

52k tris down to 28k, still a lot of pickin' and choosin' to go, tedious as fuck. I want to smack the artist of the model for basically hitting solidify on both the outfit and the hair. So many wasted faces on the inside you'll never see. If there's a quick way to select faces that intersect with another mesh, or ones that are backside-facing from the current viewport, that'd make my life a lot easier.

Wishlist for Avatar SDK3? Off the top of my head I'd like a way to fix the "looking down = rest of body pulled up with the neck" issue, override automatic blinks, and scaling limb IK so I can perfectly match the controller to the reach of the avatar if they got non-human proportions. A dedicated prop system would also be nice but I highly doubt that'd be a thing.

How much set up do you want to do? The video players in VRChat will take any http url for an mp4 h264/aac video, so you can host your own videos from dropbox that way. If you don't want to mess with that and have decent upload bandwidth, bigscreen lets you stream your desktop to others pretty easily. If you don't have good upload bandwidth, bigscreen also has a new mode that does synchronized playback as long as everyone has the same file locally, a la syncplay.

Quest is pretty great if you ever want to use wireless PCVR or standalone features. You won't be cucked by broken cables either.

You're going to end up spending more than the base price though if you want the proper link cable or decent audio out of it. The link mode now works with the usb2 cable the Quest comes with but I've never tried it and I suspect it has some drawback compared to the usb3.1 official Link cable.

Ok so I'm nearly done converting a koikatsu model to VRC, and i've got to a stage in a tutorial where I have to click "Duplicate and convert to VRC" in the VRM menu, but I don't have that option.
The link to the file used in the description is a zip file that does nothing when I import it in to unity. I've tried exporting its contents as a unity package but this still doesn't do anything.
The UniVRM that I'm using I got from a helpful anon in the last thread, but it doesn't have the convert option in its menu. Am I missing something here?
