Holy shit that was so much fun. This has made me realize that a lot of movement that is done with a controller is restricted to forward facing things. This also increased my immersion by big factor because I could better feel the size of the room due to actually walking at my own pace. I think I will play all of HLVR with this. Would highly recommend it if you have wireless, a big play space and a strong stomach.

Sorry to bother but has anyone had any issue with Raw data psvr? I'm having this issue where 1/2 the time when I try to pick up a pistol clip from my hip my hand disappears and I drop it. My controllers definitely still in the cameras field of view. I tested doing the same motions with the cameras feed on screen and the controller remains in the cameras fov. Eye tracking means you can do actual foveated rendering, which would be good for wireless VR since you're sending less data to the headset. Varifocal should actually help too since stuff that's put of focus doesn't need as much detail either.
We already know from the latest Half Dome prototypes that Oculus was working on it, so I don't see why they wouldn't put both in their next gen PC headset as long as it isn't super expensive.

Quest seems to leak memory somewhere as it starts glitching out after couple of hours of play. Not too much of a problem when doing wireless PCVR with ALVR as you can just reset the headset and get back in without restarting the game.
