I think green squares are somewhat unreliable/buggy, i remember having issues with them as well. As for searching through levels: after beating game once you'll be able to level select, so you can pick up unlockables you've forgot on your way. iirc you'll even have access to the list of how much shit you still have to find on each level. I apologize in advance, but I'm new to VR, so I've already asked a few newfag questions, and I'll probably be asking more. But how do I keep from going cross-eyed while wearing the HMD? What I mean is, any time something is meant to be right in front of me, my eyes flip the fuck out, and either the image is blurry, doubled, or my eyes go cross-eyed, which makes my eyes and head hurt. In the interest of full disclosure, it's really not an issue that much in games, although The Room VR has zoomed in on some things a bit too close for comfort, but it's a major issue in VR porn vids. Any time the actress is meant to be kissing the camera or gets right up in your "face," it's actually kind of physically nauseating and I have to close one eye to keep from being sick. Is that a normal growing pain until I get used to the concept of VR?

I even tried messing with the IPD and distance knobs on the fly during the troublesome parts, but it didn't work, still had to close one eye to get through it. It's a normal thing called the vergence accommodation conflict. The display is just a flat screen and the headset lens optically move it back to 2 meters away from your eyes. When you try to focus on some object that's virtually closer than 2 meters, you eye's own lenses will try to adjust their focus, and your eyes will swivel inward to point at the (virtual) object. However, the screen is still at 2 meters out, so your eyes attempts just make the image blurry.

Eventually (after a few hours in VR) your brain will learn that trying to accomodate when looking at close objects doesn't work, and you'll be able to keep focus. But then back in the real world, you'll experience the opposite effect where things stay blurry when before they'd be in focus (because of accomodation).

In unity you can click the cube in the top right of the game window to make it isometric view then click the axes to view from the side. With a black background the grid is really easily visible. Each square is 10cm x 10cm and the thicker lines are on the 1m marks. Makes scaling your model pretty easy. Not sure how you'd use a tape measure in unity or blender to get the actual 3 measurements.
