Thanks for listening to my talk about turning the WMR Controllers from Inside out to Outside in Tracking, it's been a fun project of mine and it was great to show it off to a lot of people that didn't know about it.

As I said during the talk, I'd post the guide I made for it alongside the updated DLL that fixes Input Emulator for the newest SteamVR version since it got broken within the last few weeks, and a link to the github that updated Input Emulator itself.

Download and Install the Plugin Emulator from here (https://github.com/matzman666/OpenVR-InputEmulator/), replace the DLL under Steamapps > Common > SteamVR > Drivers > 00vrinputemulator > bin > win64 with the one I am currently using (http://www.mediafire.com/file/a320lprnnutiwjw/driver_00vrinputemulator.dll/file)
Grab your controller and 1 tracker, turn them both on, and put the Tracker on top of the Controller where the ring is.
I have a bit of metal attached to the ring using some super strong double sided tape that works extremely well.

Set up the Space Calibrator (assuming you haven't already)
Open Input Emulator through the same way you access OVR and other plugins.

Select the tracker in the dropdown box, set it to Redirect, in the box next to it select the controller you want to have it Track.

Hit Apply, and fiddle with the offsets until you get it accurate enough to your liking.
I'd recommend saving the profile (you can't overwrite existing ones btw) so it's easier and quicker to set it up the next time you play VR as you'll need to do this each time SteamVR is launched.
If you have 2+ base stations you'll need to recalibrate the Playspace each time SteamVR launches, it's a bit annoying but considering the Tracker is always attached to the controller, it doesn't really bother me as much.

Honestly I didn't have any hobbies before I got vr. Games were getting boring and I had no creative outlet. I would go outside and do adventure sports with my gf and I already have a job that uses my uni education. I used to log in on the same day every week and couldn't any more when my work schedule changed. I can't find any official numbers, but looking around, it seems like 40-50ms for the OG Quest, and I can't imagine you can really get that much lower on a Quest 2. Most people who use it claim it's not usually noticeable though.

Does the spatial audio feel like it's working properly for you? There's a bug that causes some sounds not to reduce in volume from distance. So you'll see an enemy or ally at range but the sound of their gunfire and footsteps will be so loud it sounds like they're right in front of you. The official discord gave no solid explanation other than probably being an AMD processor related bug.
