It takes OpenVR, FreePie and Razer hydra. I found snapturns in OpenVR but it didn't have a way to bind them but that seems to be the workaround.

Included is just one of the guides that someone made, and the person who made it will almost guaranteed help you if it's confusing. I forgot who it was but I know I talked to them a dozen times.

Vivecraft 1.16 and 1.15 are definitely more performant than 1.12. The main changes are in base minecraft java itself (i.e. all the nether changes in 1.16). The main deficit of minecraft 1.16 is mods; most of the big mods only work on 1.12 still, so if you care about that, you're stuck with shit performance but mod support on 1.12, or only a few mods but much better performance on 1.16.

If you're missing point blank and CQC that sounds like poor cursor placement. Look up FPS crosshair placement on youtube, in general you want to leave your crosshair a bit away from walls enemies will appear from and at the head level for easy headshots, not at the floor or wherever youre currently looking.

Outside of VR always, always, have crosshair right above enemy heads no matter what. Use low sensitivity on the mouse, etc. In VR just learn to point-shoot; never aim with sights or iron sights. It's sort of similar to hip shooting but the gun is at chest level or neck/face level and the idea is you're shooting where you're looking, without wasting time mentally adjusting to using sights.

Getting good aim is actually suprisingly easy if you have the time to practice. I've seen many people get insane aim in just a couple of weeks by just grinding and practicing their aim on dm servers all day long. Just put on some music and focus only on your aim.

For improving your "gamesense" I would recommend recording your gameplay whenever you play a serious match and then watch that afterwards and try to see what you did wrong.

This is why I prefer playing unranked or with more casual players rather than tourney tryhards. You don't stand a chance trying out these wacky combinations in most serious settings and that might be holding you back from finding really fun playstyles or situations.

I haven't heard about as many Index controller issues lately, so maybe I'm wrong, but it doesn't seem like as much of a problem anymore. And for what it's worth, I had to RMA my launch controllers once and they've been fine since then.
I've heard the new Touch controllers aren't as tough or ergonomic as CV1 Touch controllers. They definitely still beat out Index controllers for comfort, but other than the sticks, the Index controllers are supposedly about as tough.
Also, the finger tracking works perfectly fine outside of VRChat's implementation of it, but finger tracking without any sort of feedback will always be a gimmick.

I disagree. Most of the regulars have their life in order but few to no friends in real life. Crazies get driven out of meetups quit quickly and just plague discord or the thread instead most of the time. They're too unstable to form their own meetup, too.

Udon worlds can have video players now. Adoption has been slow, but I'm hoping the next generation of theater maps will be less janky overall. In some patch they also added the ability to read the raw pixels from textures (including render textures) back into udon. Somebody made a neat avatar stacking world out of it.

Other than that there hasn't been a ton of movement in udon. Networking synchronization is still difficult and error-prone. There's an among us clone that works pretty well, albeit with some annoying limitations on players, presumably because of the aforementioned syncing deficiencies.
