initially we had to snapturn with A/B but you can rebind those easily, just have to find the correct names for it (they're called like Firemode for turn left and Gadget for turn right or some shit)
it's recommend to rebind the jump button to something more accessible like right A too (jump is called Teleport in the settings)
and i'm still trying to find out how to sprint on index, but apparently that's just straight up bugged/not possible

There are three artificial rotations that can be used. Either smooth turn in vrchat or OVR manual turn for redirected walking or OVR auto-turn. its an upload limit and i think its combined. You will generally not have many worlds so maybe you would use 3 slots for worlds.

Thing is as they are community funded, they need to be conscious of servercosts and one of the biggest ones are avatars and worlds. Lots of players reupload the same content, so you would unsustainable costs which would only be possible to bear if you get 20 mil for free.

From a user perspective the idea is, that if you max out your 10 slots, you likely have played cvr for many tens of hours, so a one time 8 dollar purchase would be justified.

Just tried this out now after ULing my vrc avatar. Overall seems alright and very performant, need to see what it's like on Monday. Uploading my vrc avatar was easy as the other anons said, however I couldn't get facial expressions or toggles to work. I like how you can switch between finger tracking and gestures animations on Index. It's very annoying that the docs for avatars are literally non-existent at the moment.

FBT also seems fucky in general. You can't see your avatar in a mirror when binding in which is shit. FBT IK seems to only consider your hips-spine-chest as a single bone, so your upper body won't bend at all. This causes all sorts of issues but most notably for me was when sitting down your torso is ramrod straight which both looks strange and has your virtual hips 10-20cm in front of your irl hips.

Before saying anything, I wanna apologize for the issues we had during the NA instance regarding to the video reproduction, I make a quick explanation about it of what happened:
- It seems that, if you upload a video to certain platforms (in this case, dropbox), after some X amount of downloads, the video gets deleted, that's why some people couldn't hear the music and watch the video when they rejoined the instance. I thought this issue was fixed if you had a premium or paid account on dropbox, but it seems it's not.

Now leaving that aside, a little bit of blogpost: I would like to say thank you a lot for both EU and NA crowd for participating, EU might not have a lot of dance hours but they sure know how to have fun, and NA is just freaking crazy in a lot of aspects. I had to rush a lot of things so I was able to barely finish this at time (these days of november is been crazy for me), regardless I'm glad that a lot of you could make it, I will try to improve or find better ways so everyone is able to hear the music (and also maybe improve the map, we'll see)
It takes time to do this, even sometimes it stress me out a little bit, but is still a pleasure to do this kind of stuff, and is also a pleasure and I'm glad that most of you enjoy this, so thank you all for participating. I'll see you all in the dance hours !

Interface is... well, a lot better than the default camera, but it's all using expressions from Avatar 3.0 features (one is required for this).

I just think worlds should be slightly more interactive to encourage people not to mirror camp. It's so much better even just when people are spread across the map in little groups you can join and talk to, instead of one massive huddling in front of the mirror
