headswapping is very easy.

>select the head mesh and then the body mesh and ctrl + J to join them

I always assumed it's because they're stuck in 2018 vr design philosophies and weren't paying enough attention to the competition, hence why Boneworks shook them so much and delayed HL:A when it appeared. Pavlov is made by one rather average guy and has acceptable 2h weapons. An optional virtual stock setting that balances the gun between both hands and the head when raised to the right position rather than just both hands is a good way to compensate.

i'm trying to learn Virt-a-Mate and i think i'm going insane. every single scene you download comes in a different layout and format. some tell me to put files in AddonPackages. Some tell me to extract in root folder. Some tell me to extract in Save/Scene. And then there's json files, there's jpgs, there's vac, there's vam, there's vab and vaj. And dont even get me started on the interface where loading clothes is behind 12 different menu's where it feels like i'm hacking into the NSA. i still dont know if its possible to load different models into different sceens.

How do i get my particles to be world-simualted? I have a gun on my hand and a particle system that fires from it, if I set it to local it iwll be in the correct space but will move with my head, if I set it to world it will be stuck near my oroigin by my feet.

Any advice on how to keep the face casket sweat free during really extreme games? I'm using Valve Index. I got the Creed game and I'm enjoying it, but I honestly hate the idea of sweating into the Index face thing, especially since I have fair skin that doesn't like bacteria one bit.

Today I cleaned the headset thoroughly with a wet cloth and some isopropyl alcohol that I diluted as to not be too strong.

Is there any kind of mods or things you can do to reduce the sweat that builds up or do you guys have your own hacks for that kind of thing or do you just let nature take its' course and deal with the casket later on? I was thinking of ordering the 2x extra face caskets from Steam so that I can do just that. Either that or always wear a sweat band under the headset but that honestly doesn't feel nice and then the headset doesn't fit comfortably.

Before you ask, no I'm not fat. I'm normal BMI, lift 3 times a week and do cardio 3 times a week. I'm in good shape.

I received my Quest 2 a couple days ago. Been playing a ton with Virtual Desktop and it's insanely good.
I had troubles with Alyx, but then read somewhere I should check out my background processes, so I uninstalled Asus Aura (GPU light), and I am closing Afterburner and Corsair iCue before playing, and now it runs perfectly smooth through virtual desktop.
