I've tried a custom stocks for oculus controllers forever ago. When I changed to vive wands I could never get it working very good. They worked for a few guns and pistols were annoying. It just wanst fun dragging around the stock when I used guns that didn't work. Now that I have index controllers, I will probably never use another stock. I recommend alternate poses like bracing the trigger hand on the other forearm. works pretty well for long range stuff for me at least.

The tracking for the G2 is fine.
The only reason why it looks shit, is because the videos are literally showing the limitations of the tracking.
When do you ever move your arms so slow and delicate in VR like those videos showing?
Most games you are flaying around like a spastic, which is fine with WMR since it uses accelerometers to calculate it's location outside of the cameras.

If you think the Gen 1 WMR tracking is better than G2, then you are an idiot because it's the exact same tracking with the exception of additional cameras on G2, which does make the tracking superior on G2.

All the problems on the G2, is on the OG WMR headset, which isn't a problem at all since the only time you notice the tracking being a bitch, is when you either play VRChat or try to actively break the tracking.

I own a WMR headset, I know what I'm talking about.

The textures for the body are "Robot_RED_DiffGlossiness" and "Robot_White_DiffGlossiness". There's also a "Robot_CustomColour" that you can use as a detail mask for custom patterns or colours on the jacket/pants without doing any image editing.

I have realized the most redpilled playspace move/rotate chord is system button touch + analog stick touch on the same controller. Do you mean hotas, or just any "throttle" and joystick? I can recommend pic related, t-16000m, it's a solid joystick, it has a throttle slider, and it's switchable for any hand. you can play whatever files you want through the sync player on bigscreen. Most of the time though we use vrchat and host a hardsubbed mp4 on dropbox or a cheap VPS and play it in one of the theater worlds, which is less convenient in some ways, but a lot comfier graphically than bigscreen.

it is saturday i think, either way in about an hour i'll be in a VR game playing another game and hopefully other people show up.
