Why do VR games insist on having these kind of enemies that run along the ground and leap at you? It's the worst kind of enemy to implement when you're constrained by cables and physical space. Especially with melee because it's scuttling around but you can't lunge at it without smashing something. With blender what's the simplest/most effective way to add a pair of shorts/pantsu to a model so that it fits the body mesh proportions correctly? I solely use mine with virtual desktop so I'm not sure about the lag with a link cable. There is a bit of performance overhead and a tiny bit of inherent with using a quest 2 since your computer needs to compress the video feed. Be sure to actually try posing the model in Blender first and correct weighting, I'd bet it'd be that. Good luck with weight painting.
If you're convinced it's a rig issue, try moving the root of the shoulder bones further from the model's centreline. Kind of hacky but generally works alright for VRC IK. This will make your shoulder movement more subtle which would also help with your issue.
