So I have two separate unity projects each with different models. On project A I have a model with a specific outfit that I want to transfer over to project B, as in, carrying over the object's location, size, rotation values, all the dynamic bone settings on them, etc etc etc. How exactly do I do this?

If I just transfer over the fbx and import it into project B I have to manually size it, position it, add all the dynamic bone settings etc one by on which is a pain in the ass when my other project has it perfect and ready to go. How can I just 1 to 1 copy it over?

I'm assuming that you can actually transfer the clothing over in Unity, normally this requires Blender or JP autism. This is a two stage problem. To get the files in the same project, you can either copy over the scene AND all other bits you need in the other scene, or you can make a prefab of the avatar you want to copy over and export a package that you import in the other project.
After that, I recommend using Pumpkin's avatar tools to transfer over the transforms, dynbones, etc.

AirLink has more inherent delay than virtualdesktop. Airlink aslo forces you to run the oculus home software, which destroys even good CPUs. VD doesn't have that flaw. Airlink doesn't even support 90hz, while VD supports 120hz

It's more a problem with what we're able to do with Udon. A proper Katamari VR would be no issue at all, but doing it within VRChat would be an optimizing/network-sync nightmare.

That said I don't think the gameplay would hold up in VR since you can't be the size of a prince (you wouldn't be able to see shit), and gesturing pushing a ball around with VR hands isn't as good as just moving two joysticks.

I just wish the author wasn't lazy with the model. Bringing it back into Blender is mandatory to fix it up the disconnected head (vertex lighting issues if you don't use a toon shader), some of the weight paints are rough, and then merging the 8-some meshes you want of the 34 there are.

Face topology is better (old one was just edge loops edge loops and more edge loops around the mouth,complete waste of tris), and it looks like he didn't hit the subdiv as hard on this one since it weighs in less than the old one.

But yeah, the weights are rough as I mentioned. Probably just dropped in a basic skeleton and hit automatic weights from there with little touch-ups, but not remotely the amount needed. The hair and breasts I had to redo, and there's something up with the ankle that gets a little fucky in FBT that I need to suss out later, been busy with other shit. Might just disable the toe bone for now and see if that remedies it.

He did the minimum for SDK3 which is whatever. Saved me the hassle of having to port it to 3.0 myself like I did the Lady Moon. Hopefully doesn't deter from future models since his style works damn well for 3d. Just really needs someone more experienced to go over his shit before he hits the sell button.

Side bangs and the rear pieces that dangle were not weighted as well as I wanted so I redid it. Breasts between the body and the overlapping clothes are not weighted the same amount which causes clipping w/ dynamic bones on, so you either fix the weights, add a shape key to shrink the boobs, or just manually mask out the body parts that are affected if you're not going to bother with clothing toggles on the avatar.

heists are mostly straightforward and for builds I suggest you let some of the other more experienced players take care of that for you depending on what kinda playstyle you'd like to try
eventually you will come to learn what skills you 'need' almost always for the basic effective builds (eg. aced Nine lives, aced Inspire, basic Parkour, basic Transporter etc.), niche ones will always deviate but no need to get into that yet
this mostly applies to Overkill and I guess Mayhem eventually, harder difficulties will need better coordination and builds
I guess you can check what kinda weapons are generally better than others
one thing I would suggest is setting up your AI crew like pic related ON EVERY PROFILE in case you ever host lobbies, it's quite useful, host should always have this set up especially if the lobby isn't full

Turn off USB power management or whatever in your advanced power settings, if you let your computer go to sleep it'll end up turning off USB functionality in your headset which will cause all sorts of issues, like your camera not working and other things until restart
