There is a seperate multiplayer game that is a lot of fun but also dead as shit.

They just added a big update to Stride itself. It changed up the path generation for Endless mode completely so shit is a lot more varied and difficult. They also added some interior areas to the Arena mode. The only bad thing is it's currently bugged so you HAVE to play it at 90 FPS or below or it doesn't work right, but it's still fun as fuck.

The channels of a "specular map" texture aren't well defined between shaders, and whatever game you got the texture from probably uses something besides unity standard. You can usually guess which RGBA channel means what and remap them using GIMP/photoshop though.

Yuki is pretty fun as far as VR shmups go. It has a lot of different considerations compared to flat shmups, and is definitely easier than your average Cave deal. It'll only take me a few hours to beat the game with all of the shot types once I unlock them. I like how polished and well put together the game is in general. The soundtrack and visuals really work together. Definitely worth it on sale.

Yes, if you could do something like that it would be amazing. There are no classes, you can pick up any weapon and can combine most of them aswell aside from two handed weapons. Personally I like just using just one single handed weapon as it gives more freedom of movement and I think you also move faster.

I can't fucking stand that jumping stab attack. I got my hands on a spear and they would just impale themselves on it at full force which was funny but literally any other weapon and it's terrible to try and block or parry. Parrying in general doesn't feel very good in that game anyway. Legendary tales' parrying was good but was also the only good thing that game had going for it. The slight quarter second pause when your blades collided added so much to the feedback and really let you know you had actually landed a parry perfectly. In blade and sorcery it relies too much on the physics to block and your weapons would just smoosh against each other hoping that the damage area wouldn't clip through for a frame or tag your body somewhere. Either that or they'd instantly flick into a stagger backwards animation that could be an instant 180 in momentum to their attack. Blade and sorcery is basically just guro fap fuel for me with how jiggly the sword fighting is.

It depends on what mods you are using. I'm using https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/58605 which makes things a lot more interesting as you can properly dodge attacks. Mortal enemies gets rid of the aimbot behavior that enemies have. That and dual weapon block VR lets you defend properly too. Attacking is still waggle limited by how fast your weapon is and stamina. It's not great, but all and all it's still lightyears better than flat Skyrim's melee combat.

IK tweaks allows your spine-chest joint to bend among other things. It means if you're slouching irl your avatar will also slouch. Without it your back is perfectly straight all the time so your irl head will be lower than your avatar's head when you're slouching. Solutions are either IK tweaks or better posture.
I use IK tweaks specifically because it lets my torso rotate when lying down. Means I can actually lie on my side instead of every part of my body being sideways but my back being flat on the ground.

Yeah, damage depends on both hit location and velocity. I think the head and neck are most vulnerable, followed by torso, shoulders, then limbs. Might have the order mixed up.

Damage also depends on the weapon itself and whether you're one-handing or two-handing it. Two-handing is always more damage.

It’s gotten really good. The health bar and food is on the left wrist. The minimap is on the right. Switching weapons has this intuitive circle menu that you spawn and tapnwith your hands.

The only trade off is reducing your graphic settings to the lowest level but most wverything just werks. Waggle combat is avoided by need ling a cetain speed of weapon swing and you have stamina anyways so each hit drains it.

You have to block manually too and sctually block the enemy swing. I’ll post some joce webms later once I get my pc up.

the closer to the base of your hilt, the faster your recharge, but blocking with the hilt itself makes a signature peal and recharges way faster- makes axe and spear often have insane turnover times in exchange for being broken easily
polearm hafts do block everywhere, but the area between your grip gives you the rapid recharge whereas the rest of the haft simply has a faster recharge than normal

basically aim to break the tip and aim to block with the base
hit fast and with good wide swings and aim for torso or head if possible
