If you ever have some time, check out the VR Dancing world, it's where pypy is usually hosted. The database of songs they have is massive, and it's super easy to filter through things.

Hey I usually can't go into NA and EU pypy due to timezone issues. But I've been to both PyPys at least once. Once on NA and 4 times on EU.

A SEA person once hosted a PyPy session for SEA too so managed to get there so that was neat. But seems like same with me they don't really prioritize pypy dancing as a main hobby of theirs to continue to host it.

Yeah, that happens, and you get used to it. I use the time spent restarting the game to use the bathroom and refill my water. (It's almost a good thing.) You can reduce the severity and frequency of crashes by installing the following mods:
- Network Sanity
- Advanced Safety
- Tru-Shader Anti-Crash

I still crash once every other day at least once even with all of these, but it's a price I'm willing to pay to get the insane kinds of interactions that are rare in other maps. (More blood for the chaos god, never vote yes to a kick on an entertaining fight.)

July 1st, which is Canadian Independence Day, is on a Friday.
July 4th, which is American Independence Day, is on a Monday, which is also a three day weekend for Americans.

This is a rare year where we have both days in the same weekend. Due to this monumental occasion, I am going to be hosting a joint Independence Day celebration and shitposting contest late night on Saturday July 2nd. The chip shortage fucked SlimeVR over hard. They use a better IMU in their production unit but those chips are impossible to get at reasonable prices anymore. I've been thinking of /diy/ing a set as you can still easily get the cheaper IMUs but there are major downsides to them.

Despite these issues it's still FBT. It still lets you move your legs, shove your feet in my face or dance with your friends. For less than the cost a single Vive tracker I think that's pretty cool. You'll look like a poorfag when standing next to the 11 point 3.0 chad but it's better than any of the other non-lighthouse options and better than no FBT at all.

Currently running SlimeVR with ICM20948s and D1Minis
>building takes patience (took ~20hrs off and on for full set of trackers)

troubleshooting configuration and actual IMU placement is painful, honestly if you want SlimeVR wait for them to actually start shipping a product or prepare yourself for "cheaper" tracking.

Still have errors, still have to tune after the automatic calibration to get close to good tracking unless you figure out a system for solid mounting, pros are the massive battery life due to being able to choose large capacities (mine are ~20hrs run time estimated by the battery sense on the microcontrollers)

TL;DR It's cheaper if your time is free, not as accurate or easy to troubleshoot.

It has been a long fun ride with all of you, the friends made and experiences I will never forget, however much like luud, hero, neg, nevel, and many others. I just cant do it anymore, its the most painful thing to see this community start as a small group wandering vr and making bonds on the way, we grew at such a rate that i never thought would be possible, Valentines came I got my headset and I felt from there that this community was going to be a home for me for quite some time. And it was, now i sit here wondering where i went wrong with all of you. I apologize about freaking out about the terraria discord, I just knew from there that things were only going to get worse from there on out. and it did, now we sit in a community that embraces cancer, outsiders, underage kids, and teenshitter influence. I never thought i would have to endure seeing such cancers dismantle the very unity we had in the beginning, now we are over shadowed by smear campaigning, manipulation, and corrupting users that only seeked out acceptance.
