In theory you should be able to just squeeze your index finger to fire a gun, but their official bindings all insist you use fancy pinch gestures instead, so that may not actually be viable.

Would have been cool if it had released 3 years ago when it was supposed to, not that there are really any better options available now.

Finger tracking still doesn't do splaying, but it is supposedly better than index controllers at least, and probably more durable as there are no moving parts.
Anon gave a mixed review of the unit they received. Software side is still a bit scuffed.

The trackers can be detached and have their own battery; worst case scenario I end up with two extra lighthouse trackers I can use.

the old vega 56 gpu that i have allows me to watch videos in vr without any problems on the version 23 drivers but the xtx doesn't work in vr but on desktop

You only have to point the barrel down enough. You can run in a low ready position in most games. Not excusing Tabor's physics, it's just something you should do anyway to increase how fast you can react.

Unrelated other mistakes I see are rounding corners with the barrel first giving away your position, and turning 90 degrees or more with the gun up which is slower than swinging it down and up.

I was playing around with brown hair / green eyes combo.

When you're using an all purple color palette, it's easier to find agreement between the colors. Brown and green with your purple crown and shirt don't immediately match. The purples are cool purples, the green is neutral, and the brown is warmish. I would probably make this work by shifting the greens to a slightly cooler shade of green, and then cool the brown a bit with purpleish shadows, and generally shifting the brown to something less saturated so it doesn't compete as much with your stronger colors.

There's no ENB for the VR version of fallout 4, but there's a few mods that add parallax textures, which I'll admit I don't know anything about, but from the screens, it looks like they add roughness and depth to textures. Would those textures add anything in my game if I'm not using ENB? The HD textures are great in VR as far as readability and visual clarity, but they look "flat," which doesn't look great in garbage piles and brick walls.

I happened to already have them and rarely used them, but now they're my dedicated VR glasses. I use an Index, but I imagine they'll be good for any headset.

I already bought Tarkov way back so I would rather play that, even with all the cheaters, than play >Tarkov VR.
Another issue is the game feels way too small, maps are really small and empty and the looting feels like shit since your gun and body constantly block you from grabbing low items. The backpacks are way too small and you can't even stack items like in ITR. Staying for longer than five minutes in a raid feels pointless unless you're exfil camping. And yes, I'm that nigger who exfil camps or hides in a corner with my mic off, why would I ever bother trying to be friendly in a game about killing everyone you see. Linking up with a squad is nice but it feels more like a shitty deathmatch with some bots mixed in than a looting game.

I'll just play ITR and Tarkov instead of this shit.
