Howdy anons, decided that it's time for me and somebody else to be making an event after being here for a while,
so we're making our first event, while it's not unique, I hope you can still enjoy it. Please dress up your avatars
in cowboy garb, or anything that would fit the "Wild West" theme, or just simply slap on a cowboy hat!

Reply with a photo of your avatar (preferably transparent and with a cowboy hat on) with face shown to be put on a wanted poster in the map.
Please include the crime with the photo for the poster or one will be written for you.

The map will have a password posted on the thread a few hours before the event will begin so that we can minimize the
amount of randoms. We're still figuring out times for EU and NA's, so please recommend any timeslots that might work!

If that's the case I'd recommend learning that. Trying to learn how to model/rig from scratch is a huge time investment. Learning how to take different body/head/hair/clothes, align/scale them together, remove parts of each that are unnecessary and edit some textures can take a reasonable amount of time to learn. Not sure about guides, but I'm sure they're out there. CATS Blender Tool is still pretty good for merging armatures, although some of that plugin's functionality will only work on old blender versions. Good thing I don't use the parts of it that stopped working anyways. As for finding models, most people use booth.pm nowadays, although in the past 3d.nicovideo.jp and bowlroll.net were used as well. I would avoid deviantart and gumroad, although sometimes you can get lucky and find passable models.

I can't figure out how to do complex keybinds either. In the steam controller interface for gamepads, you can create binds like if holding R1 then it modshift your dpad for example to whatever you want like send a keyboard press even.
Best thing I found in the SteamVR controller bindings are doubletap and long press for some buttons and that's it. got a new index cable today from ifixit. feels bad since the bigscreen headset is supposed to ship like next month or so, but it had to be done. This time before I used the cable at all, I laid it out flat and drew a line along the top with a silver sharpie, then sealed it with mod podge. So I can hopefully tell which way to untwist it in the future.

I don't have a lot of Movie trivia questions yet but I've put together a lot of video game questions. At least 10 from each game series I've done so far. Some trivia I can pull from my head but I don't want contestants waiting for me to think of questions. I'll work on some more for tomorrow. Right now I'm pushing 40 in the vidya category. All the movie stuff would just come from my head.
