Also, bring a controller. While the inputs are mapped to Touch/Index controllers by default it is less than ideal: for some controllers it doesn't have enough buttons and you don't really want to play 2D games with a thumbstick. DS4/5, Xbox and a lot of shitty 3rd party controllers work out of the box without requiring any remapping.
You can check how each console's controller is mapped to an Xinput controller by checking the respective core page, Joypad section in the libretro docs.

Still trying to gauge interest in this. I've been thinking about hosting Cosmos VR again as its been a long while since I hosted it for NA. It's an immersive theater experience of the classic science education show Cosmos: A Personal Voyage by Carl Sagan. By immersive theater I mean 3D visuals in the theater that are in sync with each episode of the show. Come and learn about the our position in the Cosmos, how stars live and die, functions of natural selection and DNA, the difference between astrology and astronomy, the possibility of aliens, the fragility of our little world and much more. Each episode is an hour long and is has that '80s hopefulness that is clearly lacking these days. I was thinking about hosting these on Monday nights at 9pm EST of course in VRC.

I haven't played the new course, but I did do the ball and fox hunt. The balls are nice, nothing amazing, but very on-point stuff so if you like that era's aesthetics or France in general, you might like the balls. The club is also pretty decent, nicely done while still be understated enough to not be obnoxious like some of the early club designs.

I'm at a fucking loss.

Some of you might remember a couple of threads back when I complained that my CV1 was displaying no image despite the software saying everything's alright. I tried everything; reinstalling oculus software, including deleting everything oculus-related in the appdata/registry for a true reinstall, using different USB ports, the lot.

A part of me still thought it might be software, the fact that oculusmirror never showed anything was weird to me, since it usually never stopped displaying an image even if I took the headset off and the display wasn't on. Still, people speculated it was the cable, as it usually is, and I thought so too. However, after sourcing an almost brand-new CV1 for really cheap, this one also doesn't work, even though the guy who sold it to me showed me a video of it working when I requested it.

I did the whole troubleshooting again, this time also trying to install the Oculus software in a different drive, using the new sensors. Same symptoms.
As a final cope, I went to my friend's house to test it on his PC. Sure enough, it worked just as well my CV1 did when it was brand new. Integrated audio and everything.

So I'm sitting here wondering what the fuck could be wrong with my computer. I'm pondering a Windows reinstallation, and that's another headache altogether.

I added Turtles in Time arcade because, despite being partial to the SNES for the different stages and actualing voicing BIG APPLE, 3 AM, the arcade version supports 4 players.
I decided to keep the default scanlines + NTCS shader because I guess it would be better for people using toasters. Everyone is free to upscale the resolution and use an actual CRT shader (I know I will). crt-easymode is my personal favorite. EmuVR uses gl driver so you're limited to glsl format shaders.
Like I said before, using a controller for actually playing is preferable.

Questbros, how do I wirelessly move media from the quest to my PC? I mean having no cable involved at any point, so no sideloading an app like sidequest beforehand.
My headset refuses to connect to any computer with any cable and the soft reset did nothing.
I suspect that it's not the port and it needs a hard reset, but then I lose the files.
