Yea, I think the wind holes take a little getting used to, so they suck the first time around and I wish that wasn't the case, but if you're thinking that any of the holes on it, especially the back 9, require you to hit a perfect shot or go back to the tee/end up in an unrecoverable place, you might be approaching the hole wrong. The clearest example of this is the one where it rolls downhill into the jetstream and the wind has the hole into the middle of the wind. It's not obvious, but you can either hit a pretty consistent hole in one shot, or finagle it to lay you up for a much easier two by getting it to stay on the bottom half. I screen capture a legal stream and stream it via OBS to a DO droplet via rtmp and serve it over HLS. I'm running it at 5Mb/s which seems fine for 1080p.
There's an issue with resyncing with HLS so I'm going to change it to rtsp for the next american/late night race for me hopefully.

And yeah I can only do this when the american races are on bc I'm not watching it IRL with people.

It was added in the beta test prior to the beta update that added the marketplace. Figures they only care about encryption after they try to monetize something that actually warrants it, rather than allowing ripper sites to thrive for years.

Not that it'll stop them anyways, since running the game on Linux through Proton lets you easily sidestep EAC checks to look at the decryption function + key.

Walkabout is in a pretty healthy spot with the devs clearly having learned from the earlier courses what makes a more interesting approach vs what comes off as a pure gimmick that grows old. They've moved away from things that make the ball behave in less predictable manners, whether that's things like wind which are predictable but only with experience instead of being visually indicated on the strength or walls with very rough geometry like Seagull stacks where interacting with them is a crapshoot which makes it substantially harder to play your way out of a bad situation with a creative line. I do think they're starting to suffer a little from laziness with bugs on new courses not being terribly uncommon and every course having the stupid "hit the floating hole with a ramp from the teebox", but there's worse sins.
