How many time cubes does that take?

Just played a bit of new Wanderer: Fragments of Fate. It seems to be reimagined quite hard to be more of an action game with puzzle elements, instead of pure puzzler. Movement completely redone, it's now closer to Boneworks full physical movement than anything, in the prologue I already got a weapon to fight with, do some parkour and ziplining.
Graphics are quite nicely upgraded, and despite it being Unreal Engine slop, even disabling TAA doesn't bring out shimmer. Game runs on par with Pavlov frametimes, and looks very good despite no AA. And it even has working mirrors!
Looks very promising.

How it was explained to me and how I understand it combined from multiple people is that:

- if you don't use /vrg/

then you can't honestly be joining a gift exchange for the community
note this is different from newfags who are using and posting on the thread or even very rarely joining instances.

Tiger has shown he has not used the thread outside of christmas event and has shown he has not joined any instances/lobbies of anyone else who use the thread.

For the model itself, FBX is your best bet. If you want to create a whole package for unity itself, export as an unitypackage file, it saves hierarchy and other unity bells and whistles.

Drag and drop the entire avatar/prop from your scene hierarchy into your assets folder window to create a prefab then right click it and export as unityasset. It'll bring up a window that will let you select what you want to export and it'll package it up nicely into a single shareable file for you. has manual reloading, can drop the bolt with button or charging handle, hk slap, depending on gun etc
lots of gun platforms
they added a gunsmithing table so you can start from a lower receiver and build some kind of abomination on top
can customize your gun, armor, backpack etc
currently 208 quests to work through before server wipe so it has a modern game sense of progression
didn't care much for tarkov flat but I like it in VR a lot because you're not JUST shooting the whole game.
you get to hl alyx search thru drawers, play item tetris in your backpack etc to break up just staring at an angle with your arms up
also have a sense of possessiveness over my items and hideout since if you die you lose your shit.
little emergent gameplay aspects like when you kill a chinese guy and loot his backpack to find it perfectly organized

To be honest, I underestimated the difficulty of Portugal. All of those blind corners hidden behind uphills were bad enough to turn even H2 into a challenge.
and now we have fast FWD around Monte Carlo, and the next one is Kit Car class that was famous for pushing out faster times on tarmac than highest WRC class in its times. This might not be as easy as I hoped it will be.

It's an infinitely superior controller, both in terms of general input precision and also in terms of how many information it feeds you back with FFB. You'll be more precise and, more importantly, far more reliable with it. If I'd really want to, I could probably match my best time on some track using gamepad, but with a wheel, I'd be close to my best time every single time I try. Give it some time, you've spent your whole life playing on dualshock and then you had a wheel for a couple days, it's a given that you're faster on something you're used to.

I tried Envision yesterday for the first time, god damn that was impressive. One click, one run, performance wasn't even too far off from windows, and I've seen only one visual bug of weird transparency on world loading screen. Pico 4 with body trackers is the best budget full body solution. It just works, works decently, doesnt require any weird calibration dances like other imu solutions or hybrid tracking. Coming from a quest pro for the last 3 years the first thing I noticed was distortion around the edges of the lens. Nothing too bad, but it was there and it was ignorable. I also noticed in mixed reality some really horrific motion blur whenever I moved that made it feel almost unusable. Some people like motion blur more than other, personally I hate it. It was a constant reminder I was seeing through cameras.

Does PfD have face tracking? I've also watched a gorillion tutorials of people messing with synths, and I've found that there's never "one true tutorial" that makes it all clear. However, once you see the techniques explained enough different ways by different people in different synths, it somehow starts to make sense in some deeper way. Quantity over quality, somehow.

Subtractive synthesis is cool but when you want some non-harmonic overtones, FM/PM is a nice controllable way to get them.

Connecting to quest via bluetooth has about a half second delay and connecting to my pc sometimes has some audio cuts. Should I just buy a wired set of earphones or get a decent bluetooth dongle?
