If you export the lights in the fbx or gltf unity should pick them up, though you'll likely have to tweak the settings to make it look right in unity's renderer over blender. Plus you'll want to bake them anyway for performance, so yeah you can bake the blender lightmaps and import those.

It's still a bit stereoscopically incorrect for some lighting and shadow effects. The final part of the game had some stereoscopically incorrect text overlays (nothing important and the game is paused for those). Visor switching felt a little cumbersome putting your hand up to your head but also felt really cool to do. Map c-stick movement would sometimes rotate so you'd need to open and close the map again. Only had one major bug happen a few times where (probably to do with hud switching) the joysticks will stop responding and you'll need to reload a save/savestate. Trying to savestate and load after it's happened doesn't help. Otherwise I'd say it's fair complete and you should play it before you forget about it. It's about a 9-12 hour game depending on how long it takes you to beat bosses and when you engage with the scavenger hunt.

It's a cool idea but it's pretty understandable that on it's 3rd year in a row with the same exact premise and build-up that it wouldn't hit the 80/80 cap like the first 2 times.

Pre exploration would fix the issue of AI slop and horrible test maps but would ruin the whole magic of explo. Having horrible maps, mid maps and actually good maps does make the whole thing a bit more fun and allows shit talking or just mellow talking in between.

Nta but I did that for upwards of 3 years and any time I stopped doing so people would complain. These days I just try to make sure they don't turbo fps tank poking my head in briefly but I usually spend (at least) about an hour or two looking for interesting stuff before hand as well as passively collecting maps to check from various places throughout the week. Not too sure what the others do. Finding enough maps for 2-3 hours of world hopping in appropriately sized maps that are stable and not overlapping too heavily with SEA (there is a lot of overlap between the timezones), are performant, and that we haven't been to in the last however many years is more effort than a lot of people probably assume. finally finished this stupid mission, took me like 9 ish tries. for anyone trying to actually do it: (the homesick mission for the EF-24G campaign)
full power on all one side of each jammer
use nav autopilot or stick VERY close to the bombing squadron, no farther than half a mile
for the opening jam both ships, the closest mad-4 and then the second closest mad-4, wingman jams the search radar next to it.
make sure the first/closest MAD-4 is on 7a or you will lose the jam while turning after the airfield
don't waste a jamming slot on the first airfield's AA just shoot your sidearm at 10 miles.
once you are over and past the airfield swap to the SL Radar and the Mad-4 on your right, once the SL gets destroyed choose the MAD-4 to the left and ahead of you. Point your wingman to jam these too

I might have gone a bit overboard with the server racks. Trying to get four products per loop is pretty brutal without any tools to upscale. Not that I needed that many. Also I only realised afterwards that all the stuff that is going into the server tower can be used in the tower's rooms to make stuff. They're pretty much plug and play with steamvr, if you're already using a lighthouse tracked headset it's basically retard-proof.

Make sure to uncheck the "use locomotion animation with 5+ point tracking" thing on your avatar in unity.

There are a couple different fbt calibration settings in-game like hip anchoring vs head etc, mess around and see which one you like best. You may also need to poke around at the "real height" number in settings in order to get your limb proportions to feel right. You may have to bump the numbers away from your real height in order to find what ends up working well.

Besides that have fun and try not to spend too much time on your back, ok noa-non?

When it's enabled, your avatar plays a walking animation whenever you move with the thumbstick. In 3 point you probably didn't care too much, but if you're in fbt trying to, say, sit in a chair and align yourself properly, it is supremely annoying to have your avatar start scrambling around any time you just want to shift your position around a little bit.
