Yes. Beatdrop wanted me to reinstall Beat Saber because I had the old IPA, so I did, removed the beatsaber folder, removed beatdrop, removed everything from appdata, reinstalled, redownloaded mods which it says are installed, it confirmed BSIPA is installled, but there's nothing in the game.

Finally got it working. I had to install:
- BSIPA v3.12.14
- BSIPA Mod List v1.1.0
- CustomUI v1.5.5
From Beatmods manually, then restart the game twice and it finally showed up. Then installed the songloader from Beatdrop, restarted the game 5 times while it installed dependencies then it finally worked. I think BSIPA Mod List is the missing dependency. Nothing seems to work without it but it isn't listed, and it doesn't seem like Beatdrop can actually install BSIPA or the mod list automatically.

Since other people seem to have some grievances at the moment, I'm worried about falling out of /vrg/ due to not being in the DIscord. I'm pretty sure most people don't care who's hands its in, and just want to be included, but it would be nice if people considered what this community is and who might be a better choice to have any kind of power in it. The discord creator wasn't voted on. They seek power and have grand delusions, are far more concerned about being a figurehead. Maybe people who organise events and contribute should take these roles. I don't want to be dramatic because it doesn't bear drama - we just need a revisit on who the people with roles are in a /vrg/ discord.

As a 3D artist by trade I have to say I’m honestly very angry about this. Models take a long time to manufacture and people literally just steal them make a day or 2 worth of edits and then sell the model for $100. It’s outrageous.

I don’t really care about the people making their own models and using them privately, but the people who are actively turning a profit on other people’s work are absolutely disgusting.

I understand you got the model from deviant art or nico nico douga and it was a free download, however, that doesn’t mean it’s a product that can be resold for profit.

But there is also the unity asset store redistribution too such as dynamic bones, shaders and particle effects.

I get it people are absolutely lazy and don’t want to make their own models, but you cannot legally sell a model that you took someone else’s assets or redistribute paid shaders.

Why the fuck can't they just leave this alone?

Well to make a long story short. I was banned from the official /vrg/ discord. Once because of undetermined reason, and a second time because a "Chat Moderator" wad upset that I blocked him. I tried directly looking for help by talking to some of the Discord higher ups, but everyone I DM, they just tell me "Please give us the numbers" This vetting is honestly terrible. It has been almost 2 weeks and I have yet to have any response towards my ban.

Now onto the 2 bans, The first ban was due to a maintenance, the Discord bot was showing "64 players online" so I made a sarcastic joke saying, "I knew /vrg/ was dying, but this was fast!" This was my only post, with my last being 3 days old. What did I get from this? A week ban. I tried to appeal it, but once the week was up I was still banned until I had to directly mention it. So that was that? I made a complaint in the general chat because I was upset on the situation. Then one of the chat moderators by the name "Anon27" sent me a DM, basically threatening me to stop complaining about my ban or else they will doxx me. I tried to vent my frustration one the lack of support, and his response was to tell me that he's talking to a brick wall and I need to "reevaluate your life choices" for complaining. I blocked him because of his unprofessionalistic attitude. But I told him I'll no longer vent in the discord, and will just talk to a higher up. What happens after this? I get banned because I blocked him, and he cries to another discord the, "Smart Anime" Discord that I 'Harrassed' him. Luckily I was able to appeal that ban due to false claims. But it has been almost 2 weeks since I sent my ticket, and I have yet to received any help whatsoever from anyone.

Didn't touch the Serious Sam Editor last time due to general Koikatsu work taking things up. Want to get to organizing that again so if any other anon wishes to crack at the editor give it a shot. You need to have the PC version of Serious Sam downloaded to get their SDK for some reason to keep that in mind.

Proteus is inherently unconscious.

It's simple, you wear an avatar with certain traits and you behave differently.

Here's a simple example: Let's pretend you've got an avatar that gets scuffed if you lift your arm too high.

You keep your arms low to preserve the design, and you make a habit of doing this in this avatar.

Now imagine instead of keeping your arms low, you keep your voice level for your voice changer, or you cock your hip so your character takes a more interesting pose.

Rinse repeat until you've got someone who's adjusted his hip cycle, stance, mannerisms and even his code switching to attach to their avatar.

The interesting part of course, is what happens when you remove the avatar... Most of it goes away. Just like you'd walk differently wearing a backpack, the moment you put down the gear, you mostly return to normal.

If you don't, that's no longer Proteus, though the origin may be based on adopting preferences from your preferred avatar.
