Wait for more reviews of the Quest to come out. If the limited library attracts you, it's very likely the best/most convenient system for actual VR games. If you want more and have a PC that can run it (and room for the whole setup), then PC VR (vive or rift S or index) will definitely be better graphics-wise. I was considering the Vive for the extra FOV but the thing is, I actually have an extremely small play area. As in, I can't step left and right and only back and forth for a couple of steps. How about you don't just decide on any balance changes and instead make community votes IF any weapon ever needs adjustments which currently isn't the case. This should only happen if something becomes blatantly overpowered in standard and be taken back as soon as it's reasonably adjusted in vanilla pavlov.

The TTK is already low enough and getting instakilled by someone with a 200ms advantage around a corner is not fun. The losing team doesn't need even lower TTK's on them if they fight without armor. Once we get our hands on the Index and its otherworldly audio, buttery smooth refresh rate, and knuckles finger tracking, I'm afraid some of us will enter the Oasis and not emerge for days.

I still clearly remember with the wireless Vive all the dodging, diving, twisting, turning, ducking and occasional wall face-palming that occurred. All while keeping this unnatural counterweight (the hmd) on my head. It did wonders for messing with my neck and back. And don't even get me started on the popped disk in my back (although technically I think real world tennis or soccer gets the blame for that one). I can't say I regret any of it, but I definitely learned a lesson or two.

So I plead to all my brothers in arms, get in shape fast, lose that oversized gut, no more daily 6 packs of beer, start doing a 100 sit-ups every day, go vegan if you must, build abs of steel, strengthen those neck muscles!

Otherwise, ignore this advice and expect to pay the iron price.....Game of Thrones style.

It's not just shaders really. Koikatsu models come with these really weird textures like pic related that only their shaders use. So you'd either have to understand how koikatsu's shader exactly works and make a similar one in unity or try to convert these textures to something else that could be used with a normal shader(if that's even possible).

I think it's mostly a problem of people being unwilling to join an host that isn't established because they know it won't fill and it won't fill because they won't join. I predicted Pavlov would die the moment Yuru was no longer hosting and it was true. Interest evaporated overnight. In one case we had two parallel servers, Yuru switched to balance the numbers and a 10/10 server went to 3/10 in one round.

Game #1 was 10/10 and game #2 was sputtering along at 6/10. I asked for a volunteer to come with me to put both games at 8/10. I wasn't having fun in game #1 because of how hard my ass was getting beaten anyway.
After I left game #1, a bunch of people decided they'd played enough and the remnants of #1 started pouring into #2.

The problem with the 10 man lobbies is there is practically no margin of error. Less than 5 is dead game, 6 means 3v3 and is too small and on the verge of death. Odd numbers mean unbalanced teams. If you have more than 10, people are getting left out. Only 8/10 and 10/10 lobbies are capable of being environments where everybody is having fun, and those marks are so hard to hit.

My vrfu can't stop drinking himself to death so I'll just join him I guess.

Yes, a bit tricky to get working.
Create a custom resolution using NVidia Control Pannel or Custom Resolution Utility (2160x1600 @ 90hz(Assuming you are using a Vive))
Set Launch Options for TF2 as " -vr -w 2160 -h 1200 " (Also, untick "Use Desktop Game Theatre")
Disable Direct Mode through SteamVR
Launch TF2 in VR, and will have to move your mouse off the left or right of your screen until it appears in the headset (TF2 Main Menu), Make sure you do NOT click off of the game at all, as it can fuck it up and distort the image, which you will have to restart to fix.
This is at least the method I used to get it working, the traditional method most people did never worked. Hope this is of some help.
