Definitely less robotic sounding, if you get it right, the key is the "breathy" setting. The "breathy" setting sort of masks the artifacts/distortion from the plugin, which is already less than the other voice changers. You also dhould be careful with your voice though, and have an okayish mic (index good, vive bad). Another thing to note about the breathy setting is that if you don't speak clearly, it might have a side effect of making your voice sound kind of raspy / old ladyish, but if you don't have a habit of mumbling / speaking very quietly than that won't be a problem

Got the Rift back in the day and used it for a bit before selling it off. Looking to get back into the whole VR thing once more but would like to ask a couple of things.

First, is the Quest 2 the best bang for the buck right now for the fullest experience? I also heard you can use a USB C to connect it to the PC for an experience comparable to the Rift S, is this true?

I heard rumors there was a Koikatsu IK node mod for VR around 2 years ago but could never find it. Someone finally managed to get it from the Japs. Allows you to reposition the male and female IK, have tracked hands, and control the animation with controller movement. Not the easiest to use, but gives you similar levels of control to VAM, without the major autism required.
