There are tracker straps you can buy with integrated batteries you can plug the trackers into. They prolong the time to around 10+ hours.

Hey, so I know little about vr other than that if I can't afford valve index that I might want to get oculus quest 2.
So I was wondering, is getting it without the elite strap+ battery worth it since I got told that its battery lasts only for like 2 hours (all the elite straps with battery are sold out here until end of march/ early april). I STRONGLY disagree with this as someone who has owned both. The compression and latency is very noticeable. Don't forget that Link compression also uses your CPU so you will get decreased performance in game, and the resolution increase is wasted because of compression.

Quick an inaccurate sketch, with current placements (BS2 is on a TV that's mounted on the wall there).
The room here seems a bit wider than it really is (vertical height of image), not much wider than my arm span.
So even with current setup the trackers would get seen, but what I was worried about is that if I do turn around towards the bed then there's no way to track them anymore, since I usually stand right close to my bed.
Was also thinking of putting the stations in a way that the trackers would get seen while ON the bed as well.

Index and Reverb have a little more, O+ and the Quest are about median, Rift and Vive a little less. Pimax has the most by far, but it's a dumpster fire of a headset that you should avoid.
Wear the headset with the lenses as close to your face as possible. If you use glasses, try getting prescription inserts for your hmd instead of wearing glasses in it. There's some simple mods for the O+ that use straps or elastic to flex the visor closer to your face, you can probably find the guides on plebbit or google - other HMDs like the Index have a dial to adjust distance from the face for the same effect.
