How my newfound VR brethren holding up? Why is teleport movement more disorienting and fucked up than using the thumbstick? Half life alyx gave me a headache within an hour, despite being gorgeous whereas I could play VRchat for several hours last night with no issue.

Some help appreciated. I know you guys are probably the best place to ask this about. So in VRchat there's a new (or old, don't know) Udon based BeatSaber world. Made by Japanese. It has a ton of great songs that I love and man it's a fun world.

However it's laggy and I hear the actual game is much better and you can mod those songs in yourself, somehow? Is that true? How do I go about that? Or rather, do you guys have a link for the game with tons of songs put in already? I love listening music but fuck me I don't remember titles of songs. I found myself redoing one song for 3 hours few nights ago in the Udon world. And I've never played the game before. I loved it.

This is what I do, may or may not work for you.
1. Before even modifying the model, select all the UV islands and do "seams from islands"
2. "Pin" the verts that you want to keep in place
3. If you check "live unwrap" and drag the uv's around using G, it'll unwrap itself assuming you set the seams correctly. You can pin more and more verts and try to get the shape right.
Since you've already modified the model, you'll probably need to still make seams but actually rip the parts that are modified and try to re-attach them.

It's likely an issue with your eye tracking/eye bone rotation, not the material. Your eye bones have to be facing straight up and have 0 degrees roll, same as the head bone. You'll also have to redo the unity setup after you fix the eye bone roll.

How do I comfortably lay in bed and watch movies with my index? i hate unity animation controllers and i can never seem to understand them or why they dont work

second day of the zenith beta has been good. yesterday i was leveling the dps role for blademaster but switched to support for better soloing. the classes can switch between dps/tank/support and have to level each individually, which limits your equipment so you can't just get good shit and level your low roles
graphics are very bare minimum, a bit cartoony but not enough to be unappealing. the experience for the most part has reminded me of krpg, you go to an area for the story quest then kill mobs to fulfil, move to the next area. combat for blademaster is straightforward with triggers activating your block or abilities, you have a cadence skill which triggers on each third strike as well. vertical/horizontal strikes are how you choose between abilities that you attach to them
climbing and gliding have been the highlight, advance gliding changes things so that the angle of your hands change your angle of attack allowing you to be precise and glide for long distances. there's also a cooking station you can summon anywhere and create foods by chopping/simmering/combining

layer weights are both set to 1 for right and left
i have the animation i want built that changes my face on, for example, open hand

I just uploaded a test version of mine with that particular layer removed, and I can confirm that the layer is how my avatar resets its expressions.
It also might sound wacky, but try to insert another keyframe in your animations with the same animation blendshapes or toggles in very short duration like pic rel. I've noticed that even with the default reset layer removed, the expressions that had the short duration reset back to the original shape, while the others did not.
Also, my avatar has its hand movements done in the "gesture" layer, not FX.

Over time I've seen this community turn into a repulsive mockery of it's former self. Every month I see more and more furries, trannies and randos who have never even heard of 4chan in the meetups. The vast majority of people have completely given up on the thread (some never used it in the first place) in favor of different "official" /vrg/ Discord servers.
