Realistically there's only three options:

3) log in extremely consistently and often so that even if you do absolutely nothing but sit in silence in the corner, people will remember seeing you before and you'll eventually end up in some kind of situation where they interact with you, and the effect of this happening many times will eventually see you recognized as a regular.

Using your playspace you can accomplish what is called manual redirected walking. I recommend a space no smaller than 2x2 meters. There a few different methods to try. But what they all do is essentially this:
Walk across your playspace
Turn in real life to face the center
Joystick/Auto/Rotation turn to face the direction you want to go in VR

As I said before there are a few different methods, like auto turn that will turn your playspace as you get to the corner, or using Playspace Rotation Drag in OVR that only uses a button to turn. What matters is you practice it and find whats comfortable.
