If you just bought Assetto - grab Assetto Corsa Content Manager - a better launcher and mod manager: https://assettocorsa.club/content-manager.html To install mods: just drag and drop zip files from mega onto the Content Manager windows and click on the hamburger menu on top right. Highly recommend installing stable custom shader patch and 7-zip plugin in Content manager.

For communication we'll use mumble at voice.vrg.party port 64738, as it doesn't need any registrations or logins.

He's a helpfull AI fellow in the pits who'll provide you information about your car, your opponents, yell at you or try to encourage you. And most importantly, he will spot for you, in case you have a car in you blind spot.

UI radar are immersion breaking and basically cheating, but this guy will tell you verbally if someone is there on your right. Download, install, select Assetto Corsa in game list, press "Start application" and it should work!

I wouldn't bother at that point. 170k is no big deal and you probably have to delete entire parts of your outfit to get to 70k. I usually combine as much as I can that's high poly (jewellery, clothes etc.) and decimate them together until it looks bad. I would stay away from decimating head or hands, things with shapekeys and joints will break pretty easily.

i was trying to make my own gimmick where if people pull off my glasses it would make ONLY my own vision blurry, but instead the blur shader seems to only affect nearby cameras (and desktoppers, amusingly), and my face mirror... which i don't even want it to show up for others at all

i suppose while im here i'll see if anyone can help me figure out why it's doing that, in the first place it's not supposed to sync the parameter so im not sure why its even toggling it for others..
My setup:
Glasses, a physbone for the glasses so that it can be moved around (works fine), a contact receiver/sender setup so that if the glasses are pulled out of a certain radius it toggles two parameters: one that toggles off the glasses (synced) and toggles on the blur effect (not synced). The blur effect is just some tiny sphere mesh with mochie's screenfx shader on it with a heavy blur filter.

To be honest, vrchat is not run the best. But with continious development, youll always need maintenance on tools interacting with vrchat. Cyan doesnt want to work on vrchat anymore, and doesn't want to give out his work for free, thats understandable.

But in this situation, Vrchat devs should think twice before breaking a tool which almost every map maker uses. A tool which is not opensource and its author said he doesn't want to work on it anymore. Just shows how blind vrchat sdk devs are to the needs of creators and that they dont dogfood their own code enough.
