Do note that to have these pixel arts someone had to fully create their own VR avatar first and take a screenshot of it in VRchat to then feed into the pixel art generator. There's a lot of creativity involved in that process

Is there any good VR 3D modeling software? I've been looking at videos of people using the funny 3D pen thing that's sold with Freeform and I like the idea of being able to really touch the anime girl that you are working on. Something like Zbrush is just relative to the plane you are looking at. It seems like something that's doable in VR rather than requiring a dedicated gadget like the Freeform pen. I'd probably block things out in Blender before doing details and the like in VR.

There's this plugin for blender itself freebirdxr.com which I've had on my backlog to actually try but haven't got around to it yet. I dunno how much of blender it actually supports. Even vanilla blender actually supports viewing models in VR (but no editing).
There's other niche sculpting stuff which you can find on steam if you search for VR software, but it all seems cucked by subscriptions or ridiculous prices (masterpiece VR, adobe medium, shapelab). Might be worth trying but expensive.
Another actually nice tool is something I mentioned last thread that got buried in slop >>522351368 (Cross-thread) . It's not really modeling, but still comfy to sketch things out in VR, then import for final detailing. I made a map in, uh, shillout with it once and it was cool.

We did the hard mode only by finding some of the normal balls. Pretty fun even if we stroked out a lot trying to find meme shots, most of the holes don't seem too bad if you play them as intended.

It's all just jank, that goes for both VRC and Roblox. It's fun to try the games they make in-world with a group, but it's never anything that'll get recurring plays.
On the note of EA WRC losing WRC license and killing off plans for future DLCs: they celebrate it with -70% off now, as good time as any to join it. As far as I know, they have no plans to kill off the actual service, they're just stopping development for now, so we should be safe for the time being.

Expanded the listing aspect of the tracker pretty significantly.
It now has a dedicated tracking account (雪tracker) which you can add as a friend and it will auto accept after a few minutes. If you then put "!t" in your status your instance will be listed with your status as the title. Also supports groups, if you want yours listed post it here. The idea is that this will help make spontaneous lobbies more accessible to newfriends as well as being to to reap some of the benefits of the group system without making it mandatory.
The existing anchor shortlink functionality using the client is still supported but is not yet integrated into the instance listings on the webpage. You will need to update your script to support the new auth which removes the need for API keys.
I've done some initial testing successfully but would like more people to try it at this point, if there are any issues or feedback let me know.

my guess is motion smoothing. if your frames drop below a certain amount, it will ai slop a new frame in there and it typically looks distorted. if your system can't run very well, i recommend turning motion smoothing off because you'll see those distortions way too often.

i think you're fine my mistake was taking them off thinking its better to let them self-discharge a bit. in my estimate they should have been fine even years later but the circuit inside them somehow discharges them to 0 in a few months.
also i noticed i used the wrong pic, what i got is pic related (the smaller older version). the dock kinda sucks charges too slowly to keep up with puck switching so its better to connect the pucks to usbc directly.

are those magnetic USBC connectors on the vive trackers? you could hot glue tiny 5mm N52 magnets on the tracker and on your dock to make it magnetically lock just buy 5mm N52s from aliexpress. i use them to mount stuff to my FPV drone goggles they hold things pretty hard if you have bare magnet to magnet contact

Thought about that but there's a lot of hurdles for the parsing and then there's the issue of stopping hijacking which I haven't come up with a solution for.
Something which is promising is that there is a group permission for creating unlocked links, I have to test but it might work right now as the logic is configured to prefer unlocked links if returned by the instance API.
The user side is a little difficult.. if I integrate the anchorlinks client that will provide unlocked links but then the host has to run the client still, which I think most people would not prefer over using a group. Or parse the thread which has its own issues.
